I've always loved this place. When I lived in NYC it was my after work bar hands down. Now when I come to visit a couple times a year I can't not come to Windfall. The staff is so friendly, the music is great & the food never disappoints.

Stopped in for lunch. Nice atmosphere. The bartender was friendly and helpful. Ordered the Asian Tuna Wrap. It came with some salad greens and some peanut noodle thing - all very tasty. Great experience.

This is a beautiful restaurant where some nights, it becomes a goth venue.Good food, nice drinks during the day.Awesome vibes at night.Check their calendar for up coming events, definitely a place to remember.

Amazing staff and good drinks.

$5 beers, great service and amazing buffalo chicken strips. Oh and free chips and salsa from 5pm. It’s never too busy and the music is not too loud. Great place to gather for after work drinks! The best in midtown!

Very good place for a good Beer and food.

Fun place to come for happy hour after work with a few coworkers or the whole office. There is an area at the front that can be roped off for groups or tall top tables and booths for smaller parties. Free chips and salsa just for sitting down is always a plus, especially when lunch was more than 5 hours prior.. The lighting is pretty dark and around six the volume on the stereo turns up to an inaudible level, so don't be afraid to ask to turn it down, the bar staff are extremely friendly. I love coming here!

It has become my favorite bar in the city. The bartenders are like friends and the food is GOOD. House wine is totally drinkable.

Regular midtown bar. Wine selection and liquor selection is not great but good for beers. The free chips and salsa is a nice touch though

Windfall is always a good time. I have been here for multiple events from singles mixers to the monthly Goth and industrial parties that they host. I always have fun when I am here and always feel welcome. The drinks are USUALLY pretty good and the bartenders tend to have a pretty good attitude. Pretty easy walk here from Grand Central Terminal so that shouldn’t be a worry about getting there and back if you are taking public transportation to the area.

I'd intended to go down the street to a different bar/pub, but this place looked inviting and was spacious. It was also quiet enough to sit down and catch up with an old coworker, which is what I was looking for. Prices were decent for the area and they gave out free chips and salsa which was a nice touch. I'll definitely be back - might suggest this as the next place for a work happy hour.

The service was great and the food was really good for bar type food. The bison burger was very tasty. The pretzel was very large and send to be made fresh.

Windfall is our to go place after work in Midtown. The staff is friendly and the ambience is cozy. Really good food especially their Spinach & Artichoke Dip.

A hidden gem of Times Square. Great beer and food (have the wings). Cozy and a great place to beat the regular rat race of NYC Times Square.

Decent restaurant with good selection of drinks. The free salsa and chips is pretty sweet. It gets crowded around happy hour and after work, so it can be a bit noisy. Other than that, it's your typical all American bar in midtown west.
